Automated Routing specializes in CNC Routing. We produce a broad range of routed, shaped, and cut to
size component parts and assemblies. With 26 Thermwood CNC Routers and 2
Holzma CNC panel saws, there is an almost unlimited amount
of work that we can perform.
From your drawings or sketches to full reverse engineered components, we can
help. Some of the parts we run for customers include: upholstered furniture components for chair, love seats,
and sofas, seat pans, knife blocks, cutting boards, and hardwood displays. Specialty items that we produce
include name tags, luggage tags, and seasonal shapes such as hearts, stars, circles, Christmas trees, and
ovals. These specialty items are machined on our high production 6 spindle routers.
Need your parts webbed? No problem! With our highly skilled people, your parts can be shipped to
you ready to assemble into your chair frame. Stocked webbing types include Sytex™, II™, III™,
and HT™; Matrix™; Sampson I™, II™; and Ameriflex™.
Do your parts need T-Nuts? With 7 T-nut stations, we can insert 1/4-20 and 5/16-18 T-nuts for
you. The machines are capable of inserting straight, flared, or full rollover rivit style T-nuts. Other
sizes of T-nuts are available with manual insertion.
Are partially or fully assembled products required? With our 41,000 square foot
assembly plant, we can help. We also have plenty of room to store your finished products if you company needs

Bent Plywood Panels We can make your formed upholstered plywood panels in one of our four RF presses.
Some examples of parts we currently form are seat panels, chair backs, and outer back panels. Call us for more details.
Plywood Stock We stock a variety of plywood sheet stock in many thicknesses to reduce lead times.
Plywood types include Birch/Birch, Birch/Okoume, Poplar/Gum, and Pine CDX. Also stocked are OSB, Lauan,
Hardboard, and MDF sheets. We have a material testing lab on site and can help you choose an appropriate
material to suit your needs.
Shipping Automated routing can ship your parts any way that you request, but we also have a delivery
service. If you are a local customer we can deliver to you with one of our four trucks. We have two semis
pulling 53 foot enclosed air ride trailers and two 26 foot box trucks. If you are out of state or have
large volume shipping needs, our sister company Automated
Transportaion will help get your parts delivered. This fleet of 22 trucks and 45 air ride
trailers can move anything you need, anywhere in the United States.
